You may opt to purchase one of our advertised tour packages or develop you own tour package.

Start the process by visiting the “EXPERIENCES” section of the web site and reviewing the different kinds of experiences you can have during your visit to Ghana. We suggest that that you make note of the experiences you want to have simply by writing down the “Experience Code” Return to the “DO IT YOURSELF” section of the web site and complete the “Tour Customization Form”.

Itinerary Development Guidelines
1. Most tours in Ghana are conducted utilizing tour buses or motorcoaches for ground transportation.Tourism related visits to Ghana have an average duration of 7 to 14 days. Due to ROAD CONDITIONS, travel times directly impact the number of regions you can travel to during a typical visit to Ghana.
2. Riview of the EXPERIENCES section of the web site and the TOUR CUSTOMIZATION FORM below, shows that tourism experiences are spread out all over the country. This Form lists tourism experiences based on the region they are located in. The map of the Ghana displayed to your right hand side, gives you an idea of the geographical position of each of the 10 regions in Ghana.
3. Most journeys to Ghana start in Accra, the capital city where the international airport is located. Please note he following average travel times for road trips depending upon time of departure. (i.e. usually in the morning).
A) Accra to Cape Coast: 2 to 3 hours
B) Accra to Kumasi: 4 to 5 hours
C) Accra to Ho: 3 to 4 hours
D) Accra to Sekondi (Takoradi): 3 to 4 hours
E) Accra to Brong Ahafo (Kintampo): 8 to 10 hours
F) Accra to Tamale: Full day road trip 12 to 14 hours
** Brong Ahafo and Tamale often require overnight stay in Kumasi
4. Domestic airline flights are available from Accra to Kumasi, Tamale, Kumasi, Takoradi and Suyani. Duration of flights range between 1 to 2 hours. Semi-reliable daily flight schedules are available for Tamale and Kumasi.
Air travel is always more expensive than travel by road.
